Yaseen is almost at the finish line of school. He’s always one step ahead in everything he does: archery, karate and sometimes, studies. When it’s time for him to decide what path he wants to take at university, his hot headed personality gets in the way, struggling to figure out how he wants to make his mark in the world.

One day, four mysterious and enigmatic characters suddenly show up at Yaseen’s school. Though surprised at first, Yaseen quickly gets used to them, and begins to learn a lot more about himself and how navigating life isn’t always a linear journey.

The idea for Parallel Child began in late 2021, when the question about “identity” rose between our team members. The early brainstorms sifted through ideas about one’s relationship with themselves and the world. We drew heavily from various artworks, depicting the conflict of identity struggle, helping create the first iterations of our character.
